- How many extracurriculars are considered "enough"?
A common belief is that exceeding in the academic aspect of your life is enough to get into the top schools; while that is an important aspect of your admission, officers also take a look at your extracurricular activities. In fact, it might even be the defining factor of your admission. For this reason, we recommend doing a variety of extracurriculars to expand your profile. It is suggested to do a minimum of 10 hours per week, but the best of the best have a minimum of 30 hours per week. Ways you could expand your profile can be found on our extracurriculars page.
- What about Qudurat and Tahseeli?
Regarding both of these Saudi standardized tests, colleges outside of Saudi do not require it, though we do recommend you take it during the second semester of your final year in high school, after the application process (i.e. studying for your SAT subject tests and SAT.
-Do I need the TOEFL/IELTS if I have an American passport/green card?
It is not necessary for American citizens/Green card holders to sit for English proficiency tests, seeing as it is only a requirement for international students.
-What is an optimal SAT score?
Required SAT scores defer based on the university you are willing to attend (EX: 1200-1300 for good schools, and 1400-1600 for top schools) however, we recommend giving the SAT your all, seeing as colleges will judge you almost entirely based on your score.
